People cleaned their home few days before the puja as well as they colored their home, shopkeepers and businessmen also clean there shop before Dipawali. In Dipawali people do Laxmi Ganesh puja,to get blessing from godess Laxmi for fortune(you can also read my blog how to get fortune from some easy steps). All the home in town decorated with colorful lights .

Some years back, when I was kid I watch people decorate their entrance with banana trees and bamboo and enlighten clay lamp with oil. This was the tradition way to celebrate Dipawali but now the trend change and now most of the home used artificial and decorative Chinese lamp.

You can find Kalipuja pandal in all parts of town but main attraction were Bengoli areas like Inda, Malancha. The biggest Godess Kali idol made in Kharida market. In this post I can also give some pictures from Bramhotsav of Balaji temple in malancha Kharagpur.

Bramhotsav was organized in the mid October every year. During Bramhotsav different Hindu rituals and Yaag organized in Balaji temple. Priests came from south India specially to participate in this festival, whole temple decorate with lights. Kalipuja basically done after midnight, and laxmi puja did in evening or before 9p.m. so people participate in kalipuja after finishing laxmipuja in their home. In the last section of my post you can watch some pictures of Naag panchmi puja.
